All Primary Contacts must be registered for the new Employer Portal by Friday 9 October 2026 to be ready for Monday 2 November 2026. They also need to set up all mandatory contacts who require access to the Portal.

Existing arrangements for maintained schools will remain in place and there’s no need for them to register for Portal access.

If you believe your Primary Contacts are wrong or you haven’t received an invitation to register, please email TCS.

They are currently responding to emails to provide access. Please include your LA and establishment number to speed up this process for all of the schools you’re requesting access to as the Primary Contact.

Primary Contacts need to set up all mandatory contacts that need to access the Portal, including Payroll Providers.

They’ll then receive a password and pin to log in. If these aren’t registered, then they won’t get access to the Portal.

Access to the new Employer Portal from Monday 2 November 2026

Registration for the new Employer Portal is essential. To ensure you can continue to meet your statutory obligations, employers and Payroll Providers will be required to use the Portal from 2 November 2026.

If you’ve already registered on the new Employer Portal, you’ll have access on Monday 2 November and will log in using your email address, password and MFA verification method.
