Revised member print went live Monday 5th October

We can confirm that the new member print went live on Monday 5 October 2015 and will also replace the current appointment statement.

What will change?

  • A new member print named MEMPRNTxxx.PDF for specific requests you make
  • A new member print named TR6MEMPRNTxxx.PDF – for prints generated as the result of a TR6 submission (therefore replacing the appointment statement)
  • The ‘Appointment Statement’ folder on the Employer Portal will be re-named "Historical Documents", which will house old style appointment statements you will have generated in the last three months.

Member print guidelines

To help you understand the changes to the member print we’ve created a guidelines document. There’s information on the changes section by section, highlighting what has changed and in some cases, providing more details and support.

Scheme arrangement

  • Provides the scheme arrangement the member is in and if they have tapered protection their transition date
  • Identifies Normal Pension Age for members in the career average arrangement as well as those remaining in final salary

Average salary

  • For those with final salary benefits, their average salary and the method used to calculate it

    Types of service

    • Breakdown of their service in each of the arrangements
    • Multiple service broken down into separate lines for each employer
    • Easier to identify types of service on a member’s record – e.g. opted out, transferred, reckonable service

    Elections

    • Details of all elections a member has taken, including new flexibilities

    Death grant nomination

    • Details of all elections a member has taken, including new flexibilities

    Opting information

    • Shows all opting information

    Events

    • If a member has retired, it’ll show on what grounds they’ve retired (e.g. Age, Actuarially Adjusted Benefits)
    • Clearer information on re-employment for members who have previously retired and returned to work
