My Pension Online – 500k registered

We’ve reached a significant milestone, with 500,000 members now registered for My Pension Online since December 2012. 

For those who may not be aware, My Pension Online is a personalised PIN protected portal which allows members to manage their pension online. They can:-

• View their Benefit Statement
• Change personal details
• Use webforms to complete important tasks like nominating a beneficiary
• View employment history
• Submit retirement application

For a member to register for My Pension Online all they need is their:
• Teachers’ Pensions reference number (also known as the DfE number)
• National Insurance number
• Their email address – we recommend a personal email address

Please encourage your employees to sign up to My Pension Online as it will help us to communicate directly with them. We’ve a host of resources to help you do this.
