We’ve recently identified a recurring issue where employers and payroll providers submit service details for members using an incorrect LA/Estab code. In most cases, the code relates to a school the member doesn’t work at, but one the payroll provider has access to.

This error can result in sensitive member information being visible to the wrong establishment, creating a data breach.
