Member CETV processing update

We’ve updated members on the current position with Cash Equivalent Transfer Value (CETV) requests. All affected members have been contacted directly with more information. If you’re receiving any queries around timescales from members, our update below should help you answer these.

If a member hasn’t returned their RSS choice

If we’ve not yet received a member’s Remediable Service Statement (RSS) choice, we can still progress their CETV request, but providing this helps us process it more quickly.

We’ve asked members that this applies to, to return their RSS choice as soon as possible. We’ll contact the member directly if we need anything further

If a member’s still waiting for their CETV

The member’s CETV request is still in progress.

Transitional Protection has required detailed reviews and complex manual work, which has unfortunately led to delays. There’s more information on this in our Transitional Protection RSS factsheet (PDF, 2 MB) (This link opens in a new window).

The administration of the Scheme will move to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) this summer. We’re working closely with TCS to ensure their teams are fully prepared to continue processing CETVs once they take over.

No action is needed from members currently; we’ll update them individually as soon as their CETV is ready.

If a member is submitting a new CETV request

New CETV requests may take longer than usual due to the complexity of Transitional Protection cases. More information is available in our Transitional Protection RSS factsheet (PDF, 2 MB) (This link opens in a new window).

We’ll begin work on new requests when we reach the case in the queue.
