We’re pleased to confirm that the administration of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme will transfer from Capita to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on 1 November 2026. This follows extensive planning, testing and assurance activity to support a secure and stable transition. To fulfil your employer obligations after the transition you need to ensure your establishment is registered for the new Employer Portal.

It’s essential that you register as soon as possible. The new TCS Employer Portal will be closed between 12 August and 24 August for important updates, so please act now! 

Primary Contacts

• If your establishment isn’t registered and you’re the Primary Contact, it’s your responsibility to ensure you register and set up your mandatory contacts 
• If your establishment isn’t registered and you’re not the Primary Contact, you’ll need to speak with them and request they register
• If you believe the Primary Contact is incorrect or you haven’t received an invitation to register, please email TCS or call them on 01325 506812 to request a call back.

Please note that if you use a Payroll Provider, your establishment must still register for the Portal and then you need to grant the provider Portal access.
