We’re pleased to confirm that the administration of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme will transfer from Capita to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on 1 November 2026. This follows extensive planning, testing and assurance activity to support a secure and stable transition. As part of this transition, TCS are launching a new Employer Portal. So far thousands of establishments have already registered and are ready to go once the portal is live.

Your role as a payroll provider

Establishments must register for the Employer Portal and then provide access to you as their payroll provider. The Payroll Provider Primary Contact will then receive a temporary pin and password to log in and set up access for their teams.

If you’re currently a payroll provider and haven’t received access to the new Portal for the establishments you manage, please contact them and ask them to ensure they’ve registered and to grant you access. They can do this through the ‘Manage Contacts’ function on the new Portal.

It’s essential that employers register as soon as possible to give you the access you need. The new employer portal will be closed between 12 August and 24 August for important updates, so please encourage the employers you work with to act now!
