Rejoining the Scheme

Every teacher’s journey is different and sometimes, that journey leads to a pause in your pension.

As you’re currently opted out of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, now could be the perfect time to opt back in and make the most of the benefits designed to support you in later life.

You can learn more about the benefits by reading our 'Benefits of the Scheme' factsheet (PDF, 243 KB).

If you decide to opt back into the Scheme, you simply need to complete our 'Election to join the Teachers’ Pension Scheme' form (PDF, 145 KB).
