We’re continuing to issue Remediable Service Statements (RSSs) for members impacted by Transitional Protection. Thousands of RSSs have already been successfully issued to retired members, with many more currently in progress.

We understand that some members are still waiting for their Statements and may be seeking reassurance. If you’re affected by Transitional Protection, please be assured that your RSS is being actively worked on and will be issued as soon as possible. 

You don’t need to take any action, as Statements are issued automatically once calculations are complete.

Each case is calculated individually and can be complex, involving different pension schemes, career histories, and tax considerations. In some cases, we also need to obtain information from employers or other external sources.

Our priority is to deliver Transitional Protection fairly and accurately for all eligible members, ensuring you receive the correct entitlement.

As we prepare for the planned transition of administration services from Capita to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), we’re working to ensure continuity and maintain capacity to deliver RSSs throughout this period.

Our focus remains on protecting members’ interests and completing rectification as efficiently as possible.
