We’ve been asked by the Department for Education (DfE) to advise that submitting a Subject Access Request won’t help to help speed up your pension related request. 

These are managed separately by the Department for Education and not by Teachers’ Pensions and are processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation. 

They won’t result in your Remediable Service Statement (RSS) being issued earlier, nor will it affect the timescales for processing a CETV or any other pension-related request.
