Important information about Teachers' Pensions services

As previously advised, the Scheme administrator for Teachers’ Pensions will change on 1 November 2026 from Capita to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

This change doesn’t affect your pension benefits, which remain protected under Scheme regulations and backed by the government.

Temporary pause of services

Protecting your personal information is our priority. To securely transfer over two million member records to the new administrator and ensure they remain accurate and secure, some of our services will be temporarily unavailable. This will be between 6pm on 21 October 2026 until 2 November 2026. This is necessary to enable the safe extraction, transfer and testing of member data between the current and new administration systems.

Your pension payments will continue to be paid as normal throughout this period.

During this period, you won’t be able to:

  • Access our website or My Pension Online
  • Contact us by phone, secure webchat or social media
  • Submit or track applications online.

We understand that these changes may cause some uncertainty. We’ll continue to support you throughout this transition period, making sure it takes place securely and with as little disruption as possible.

If you experience an urgent life event while services are unavailable, such as a bereavement, serious ill-health, or serious financial hardship, please contact us via urgent@teacherscorp.com

For more information about the transition, please read our factsheet (PDF, 60 KB) (This link opens in a new window) which details:

  • What the transition means to you
