Importance of correct member service

It’s your responsibility to make sure that all member data is submitted to us correctly, even if you use a payroll or software provider. We’d like to stress the importance of a member’s service being correct and your role in helping to make sure this happens.

When a member applies for their retirement, service discrepancies can stop the member receiving their pension/lump sum on time.

This is even more important especially in light of Transitional Protection changes where we need a member’s options statement to be issued.
