Contractual and Auto enrolment

A reminder that Contractual and Auto enrolment shouldn’t be selected within your MCR submissions every month.

Contractual enrolment is used for a new member joining your establishment for their first month. You’ll also contractually enroll a member if they’re starting a new contract with you and it’s the contract’s first month.

Auto enrolment is used when your establishment is going through their re-enrolment process, which happens every three years.

If you enroll your staff monthly, this can have a negative effect on members who wish to be opted out of the Scheme.
