Annual Return update

All employers who are not using Monthly Data Collection (MDC) have been notified that the Annual Return is available to download from the Employer Portal for completion.

HM Revenue & Customs require all employers to provide data to administrators by the deadline date of 6 July each year. All employees employed within your authority/establishment must be included on the Annual Return regardless of whether they work full-time, part-time or have opted-out of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.

The Employer Support Team has started to experience the seasonal increase in calls and emails from employers requiring support on completing the Service Return. By the end of April, 10.06% of ASR files had been received from employers, which equates to 5.7% of the total member population for 2015/16.
