We’ve updated you each month on what is happening with the Employer Review.  After our consultation with stakeholders we’ve a proposed model to take forward and we’d like to share it with you. The model identifies all areas of the administrative functions required for the Scheme

  • New starters
  • Auto Enrolment and Re-enrolment
  • Opt outs
  • Contributions
  • Additional Pension Arrangements and Pension Flexibilities
  • Change in Circumstances
  • Leavers
  • Retirement
  • Ill-Health Retirement
  • General responsibilities to members and Teachers’ Pensions
  • End of Year Certificate

We’ve identified whether the responsibility to deliver the various tasks lies with the employer or scheme administrator. We’ve also provided a comparison of  the current method (without MDC) and the preferred model (with MDC).

The deadline for the recommendations for the outcome of the Employer Review is Augus 12th.
