End of Year Certificate FY 2016-17

We have been recently looking into ways in which the End of Year Certificate process can be modified and streamlined for employers, auditors and the Teachers’ Pensions Audit team.

We have several proposed changes to the way in which the End of Year Certificate will be completed and returned to us, which we’re hoping to roll out for Financial Year 2016-17 returns.

Audited End of Year Certificate FY 2015-16

You may all be aware that our Audit team are busy processing your EOYCs received.  Where establishments have not yet submitted their audited returns following the ongoing reminder actions, we have now completed a review of performance for those establishments and breach reported non-compliance to the regulator where necessary.

Each establishment which has been breach reported will have received correspondence from us to confirm such reporting taking place.  However; if you believe that you may be in breach please contact our Audit team (This link opens in a new window) as soon as possible.

Financial Year 2014-15 – Monthly Contributions/EOYC

We can confirm that the accounts for the financial year 2014 - 2015 and all prior years have been signed off and closed down in relation to monthly contributions and EOYC. Can you please ensure that you do NOT make any further submissions to Teachers’ Pensions in relation to these financial periods unless specifically requested by us.

We will only be accepting submissions in relation to the financial year 2015 - 2016 onwards for monthly contributions and the EOYC processes. If you have any queries in relation to previous years submissions please contact our Contributions team (This link opens in a new window).
