End of Year Certificate (EOYC )

Thank you to those of you who submitted your un-audited EOYC to us. You should now be preparing for your EOYC to be audited and returned by 29 September 2017 (Local Authorities - 30 November 2017). Please note that if you still haven’t issued your un-audited version, this must be submitted via the Employer Portal without further delay.

There’s  a wide range of information, guides and instructions on how to complete and submit your EOYC on our website and we request that you explore all of this information when necessary prior to contacting us by telephone or email during this busy period.

Monthly Contributions/Month Data Collection (MDC) Reminder

We know this is a repetitive message but please be aware that you must submit monthly contributions breakdown forms to us in addition to your MDC file. If you’ve any queries in relation to this, or have been provided with alternate instructions, please contact either the Contributions team or MDC team.

Monthly Contributions Submissions/Payments

Please ensure that your establishment is adhering to the scheme administration deadlines when issuing contribution payments and contribution breakdown forms to us. Payments issued by BACS should contain the Establishment Reference number as the BACS reference to ensure that payments are allocated accordingly.

We actively engage with employers on a monthly basis to remind them that both payments and breakdown forms are a requirement of the Scheme and are due by the 7th of each month.

Failure to provide either the payment and/or submission by the deadline can result in the establishment being reported to The Pensions Regulator and Department for Education for non-compliance, and may result in further action being taken.

We’d like to point out that the action taken against the establishment could be penalty notices, charges and, for the independent sector, removal from the Scheme. We can confirm that 2 independent establishments that didn’t adhere to contribution and scheme administration deadlines were removed from the Scheme within the last month.
