Opt out online

In September we advised you that from January members will only be able to opt out online (unless they have requested otherwise). Members will need a My Pension Online account in order to access the online opt out form.

We wanted to update you to advise that the intention is to introduce this process at the end of January 2018, but we’ll confirm the exact dates in the January bulletin.

To allow members to complete this process smoothly, it’s essential that all enrolment templates are submitted on time, allowing any previously opted out members to complete a new opt out form online.

In the meantime we’ll continue to offer members the opportunity to opt out of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme via a paper form or online.
