Employer user experience research

As part of continuous efforts to refresh the Employer Portal and improve the experience for all users, we’ve been conducting user experience research. We want this process to be led by you as you’re best placed to share your needs.

What we’re doing:

  • Shadowing our Employer Team to understand the nature and type of queries they receive from you
  • Testing specific Employer Portal tasks with a mixture of establishment types and users who’ve had different experiences with the Portal.

The next steps will be to:

  • Run a co-design workshop to allow employers to guide the shape of the new Employer Portal. This will involve a selection of establishment types and user experience designers
  • Complete the design of the new Employer Portal
  • Test the design with employers to allow further refinement
  • Tweak the design before finalisation
  • Develop the design
  • Release of the changes in 2019.
