Scheme arrangements all members report available

The Scheme Arrangements Report can now be viewed on the Employer Portal. The report provides an indication of which Scheme arrangements your employees are in.

It’s important that you check this report regularly, as some of your staff may transition from the Final Salary arrangement into the Career Average arrangement when their tapered protection ends, but you can also use it to update your payroll records to identify which employees will pay contributions on overtime, or to identify those members you wish to provide information to about the additional pension flexibilities offered in the Career Average arrangement.

To download the report you’ll need to login to the Employer Portal, go to the ‘Download a File (STU)’ section, and under ‘Categories’ select ‘Scheme Arrangement Notification’. Please remember to look at the most recent report for the most up-to-date version.

If employees are missing from the report, or have been included incorrectly then please provide an updated MDC file in order for us to rectify the error. In addition to this, any new appointment notifications still being processed at the point the file is generated will not be included, and members with a leaver notification within the last month will be included.

If a member has opted-out of the Scheme they will need to use the Election to Join form to re-join the Scheme if they wish to do so.

Please note the report will not include the following:

  • Members who were auto-enrolled or have opted back into the Scheme with no recorded service after that date
  • Members with a failed retirement (i.e. a cancelled retirement), will not appear unless there’s recorded service after the retirement was cancelled.

If you don’t have an Employer Portal account then please email us (This link opens in a new window) or call us on 0345 300 3756 to register, once registered you’ll be able to utilise this report.

If you’ve got any queries on the content of the report please contact the Employer Support team (This link opens in a new window), and further information on the Scheme Arrangement Report is available in the Payroll Guide, available on our website.
