Monthly Contributions Reconciliation (MCR) update - Hot topics

We’ve included a new data item called a Role Identifier (RI), which will be required for all members when beginning MCR submissions.

This is a key change that allows us to remove the need to supply concurrent service as a single row of data.

The RI is an employer generated number which will be based on the contractual arrangement an employer has with a member.

When generating the RI, it’s important that you understand the member’s contractual arrangement as this will ultimately determine the format in which this identifier is produced.

Here’s a quick guide to RI, which you might find useful when you’re developing these for your members.
