Monthly Contribution Reconciliation (MCR) roll-out postponement

To ensure we successfully roll-out Monthly Contributions Reconciliation (MCR) we need to make sure that the process is right first time. This means we’re taking important measures to deliver a smooth transition for you.

Because of this, the decision has been made to delay the beginning of the MCR pilot group, which will also have an effect on the roll-out to all employers.

July 2020 - September 2020 Pilot Group to test the MCR process
October 2020 - September 2021 All Employers to on-board to the MCR process
October 2021 MCR will be the only way to submit service, salary and contribution information

Although we’re aware this may have an impact on the planning and development you may have already undertaken on your solution, we feel this is the right decision to ensure we provide the most robust and efficient system to support MCR.

We’d like to provide an opportunity for those of you who may now be in a position to join the pilot, a chance to do so. If you’re interested, please email your details to us and one of our team will contact you to discuss in further detail. We’ll only be accepting a small number of you to be part of the pilot, so if you’re interested please let us know as soon as possible.

If you don’t want to be part of the pilot, we’d still recommend letting us (This link opens in a new window) know the date you intend to on-board to MCR. There’ll be a limit to the number of you we can on-board in a month, and once this limit is reached you’ll need to select another date to on-board (within the timeframe set out by us).

To avoid disappointment, please follow the instructions within the MCR On-boarding Guidance (PDF, 2.2 MB) (This link opens in a new window) document.

If you’ve any questions or concerns regarding the postponement of the MCR rollout, then please let us know (This link opens in a new window).
