We’re at the start of a new academic year, which brings with it lots of new employees who’ll be enrolled into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme. We’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of encouraging your employees to register for My Pension Online (MPO).

As part of your welcome process, why not include a little chat about MPO and its benefits? Let them know that through their MPO account they can:

• View their Benefit Statement
• Contact us with pension related queries
• Change their personal details
• Use the helpful online calculators to plan their retirement
• Apply for certain flexibilities to enhance their pension
• Update their beneficiaries.

To help with this, each month we send a MPO report to your Employer Portal which includes information of any employees in your establishment who haven’t yet registered to MPO.

We’ve email templates on our website that you can send to employees who still need to sign up.
