It’s important for you to understand the changes being introduced as part of Transitional Protection and whether your members are affected by these changes. If so, members will be provided with options (known as the Deferred Choice Underpin or DCU) for service between 1 April 2015 and 31 March 2022.

Although these options won’t be provided to members until October 2023 at the earliest, we can help prepare for these changes. We aim to introduce a new tool to members soon but we’re giving you a heads up first.
