Multi Academy Trust (MAT) payments 

We’d like to remind MAT’s of the two options for paying monthly contributions. The options available are:

• one payment and one Monthly Breakdown form/MCR file
• multiple payments and multiple Monthly Breakdown forms/MCR files in respect of each academy and the MAT (for central staff).

Please be aware that if you submit multiple payments by each academy then we must treat them as separate submissions against the relevant academy number. This also means that an audited EOYC will be required for each academy.  

We can only accept a ‘MAT’ EOYC for all academies grouped together, if there’s only one payment and submission covering all academies.

Contacting us and a request for feedback 

When contacting the Audit team in respect of an EOYC query, it would be extremely helpful if you could please quote the relevant establishment number at the front of the email subject field.

For employers that’ve had an exchange of email correspondence with us regarding arrears of contributions, please keep a lookout for a link at the foot of the email to enable you to complete a satisfaction survey.
