Historic gaps in service

One of our biggest priorities is to understand your challenges with administering the Scheme.

We’ve learnt that gaps in historic missing service is one of the most difficult and we’re working with several employers to help them overcome this.

It’s important to address this so members’ have the correct service on their records and we’ve recently seen an increase in member enquiries about their service history.

Through our discussions with employers its shown that a large proportion of service gaps relate to Auto Enrolment Scheme changes in January 2007 and past payroll system errors. From that we’ve been able to provide impacted employers with supporting guidance and tools needed to identify and correct affected member records.
