If you’re changing payroll providers, it’s important to ensure all outstanding errors and tasks are completed before the contract with the new provider begins.

This is because, the new provider can only complete errors and tasks from the contract start date moving forward. It’s also important that you keep all past records from the old provider in case of any future queries.

If you’re using Monthly Contributions Reconciliation (MCR), the role identifiers remain with the contract of employment and shouldn’t be changed during this move.
