The cost of Additional Pension and Buy Out is reviewed by the Scheme managers and the Scheme actuaries periodically to take account of any change in the underlying assumptions. The pending changes from 1 April 2024 have triggered a review of existing factors used by the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, including those for Additional Pension and Buy Out.
