We’ve some exciting news, we’re taking part in Pension Awareness Week again for the third year.

We’re proud to announce that we’re official supporters of the event run by Pension Geeks.

The week will involve:

• A week-long social media campaign across all channels, which will include multiple posts each day explaining the Scheme
• Members will have the opportunity to attend all three member presentations
  • There’ll be a live stream of the “Getting the most from your Teacher’s Pension” and “Planning for Retirement” on Facebook
• Launch of new member resources.

Last year Pension Awareness Week was a huge success, our sessions were fully booked and had over 3000 views on Facebook. We received impressive feedback and have made improvements to the way we communicate with members based of what we received.

Our best-performing organic post on Facebook was a question asking members which retirement option they’d be taking and most members stating early retirement.
