Who can join?

If a person is involved in a role that is predominately a teaching role, is 16 or over and is not over 75, then they should be enrolled into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme. This applies equally to people working full and part-time. If you’re wondering whether Executive Heads or CEOs of Academies and Multi-Academy Trusts should be in the Scheme, we’ve provided separate guidance here.
