The Teachers’ Pension Scheme Pension Board (TPSPB) Commercial sub-committee has been established to support the TPSPB in its role providing assurance to the Secretary of State on the effectiveness of the arrangements for managing the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS).
This sub-committee’s core responsibility will be to challenge the Commercial Project Team procuring the next contract to administer the TPS, ensuring that the exercise delivers an effective and efficient service to TPS members, employers and stakeholders. The committee will report directly to the Board, providing requisite assurance that the procurement project is on target to meet its objectives, is being appropriately governed and is running to schedule.
The current administration contract expires on 30 September 2021.
