Monthly Data Collection (MDC) – Latest news

Between September 2014 and January 2015, we began the first onboarding phase for MDC and feedback from those taking part is extremely encouraging. The great news is we now have 5 employers, one of which is a Local Authority, submitting member data, on a monthly basis, directly into our live system. These employers will also no longer be required to submit additional information through other methods, such as TR6 and TR8 forms.

Once we’ve assessed their performance against the success criteria there are a number of other employers who will be submitting data into the live environment shortly.

You may be aware that MDC will be mandatory from April 2018. With this in mind we’re keen to support as many employers through the process as early as possible. Whilst there may be a bit of additional work at the beginning, long term, MDC will save you time and effort and will negate the need for TR6, TR28 and TR8 forms, re-employment certificates and of course Annual Service Returns.
