MPO Registration Process

We’re changing the registration process to make it easier for members to sign up to My Pension Online.

Feedback from all internal and external stakeholders has told us that one of the main  barriers to registering is members not knowing their Teachers’ Pensions Reference number.  We’ve changed the process so in most cases all that will be required is the surname, date of birth, National Insurance number and email address (we recommend a personal one).

We’d encourage you to advise those members who have not already registered for an account of the changes that have been made. You can do this by checking your My Pension Online report in the Employer Portal.

We’ll be updating all our resources to reflect the changes but wanted to progress the development as a priority.
