Member Benefit Statements

We’re currently delivering a campaign to all active and deferred members to remind them that their Benefit Statement is available online and that it’s updated monthly (if they’re an active member).

Where possible* at this time, please encourage your members of staff to view their Statement regularly as it provides an estimate of:

  • The current pension they’ve built up for retirement
  • Any lump sum that may be available, and
  • What death benefits are available to their family should the worst happen.

As part of this year’s Benefit Statement process we’re also letting members know about the McCloud consultation and providing an update on what changes we’ve been making due to the change in working circumstances.

*Benefit Statements are only provided to members who have qualified for a pension, e.g. those with a least 2 years of qualifying service after 6 April 1988, or 5 years in total.
