MCR27 errors

This warning error is created when you’ve provided contributions for a member we’ve recorded as opted out of the Scheme. This may be produced because we haven’t been informed of the point in which they enrolled or opted in to the Scheme.

If a member is currently opted into the Scheme and is having contributions deducted each month, we’ll require either the correct enrolment template submitting to the member’s record, or a fully completed Opt in form with the retrospective effective date required. We also need supporting evidence of contributions being deducted for the relevant period. This can be through payslips or payroll extracts. 

Please could you provide the first month of the period, then every following March that shows the year-to-date contributions total.

MCR28 errors

This warning error is created when you haven’t provided contributions for a member we’ve recorded as opted in to the Scheme. This may be produced because we haven’t been informed of the point in which they opted out of the Scheme.

If a member has opted out of the Scheme and stopped paying contributions, we’ll require a copy of the completed Opt out form for each member. This should include the opt out effective date requested by the member. 

We also need original evidence of the member’s intent to opt out. This can be through letters, emails or original forms that are signed and dated. If there’s no evidence of their intent to opt out, and it’s simply an error, please can you provide a cover letter confirming this.
