A deferred member is someone who has benefits in the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, which they have not claimed and who is no longer paying contributions into the Scheme.

Many members feel they don't understand their pension and the changes that have happened to the Scheme and it’s important as your pension remains an incredibly important part of any financial planning for your future.
