How your data is sent to us

Until recently your employer would send us your service and salary information annually. This meant that you could only see an updated estimate of your benefits once a year.

From April this year all employers were required to move onto a new system called Monthly Data Collection (MDC). As the name suggests this means we now receive your service and salary details on a monthly basis.

This has great benefits for you, as you’ll be able to view your updated Benefit Statement via MPO each month. You’ll also be able to track your service history more accurately and make sure it’s correct and up to date*.

*If you notice any errors with your service history, please get in touch with the relevant employer. Any recent non-submitted service may be due to the transition from annual to monthly collection. We would recommend speaking to your employer to clarify this as we can’t make any changes without an update from them.
