If you’ve applied for retirement this summer, we’re currently processing it in time for 1 September and you can expect your payment on the first working day which is 3 September.

We’ll let you know when your award papers are ready but please be aware, you may not receive these until the day before your benefits are due to be paid. This is normal and you should not be concerned.

You can also view the latest status of your application via the task tracker (This link opens in a new window) on My Pension Online (MPO) but again don’t be worried if this doesn’t progress regularly.
