Making it easier to view your information

We’re starting to introduce a new method for collecting member service and salary information from employers called Monthly Contributions Reconciliation (MCR). This will improve and simplify processes for employers. We’re currently in the pilot stage of this change and the full project won’t be complete until September 2021.

As your employer moves onto MCR you may see some changes to how your data is shown in My Pension Online (MPO) and the information we need to collect from you on certain forms.

The updates so far include:

  • changes to the service history tables on MPO, allowing you to expand and collapse the tables to see a more in-depth version of your service history
  • clearer information on your service history including what your service type was (pensionable/non pensionable/ opted out etc) and fields to indicate additional pension payments and role identifiers (if you were in multiple roles at the same time)
  • when completing certain forms you may be asked for your contract name (your employer will be able to help you with this).

As MCR continues there’ll continue to be changes to MPO, which will improve your experience and help you with planning for your future.
