Family Leave

|
  • Answer:

You could record this as family leave, and you would need to populate the status indicator field with ‘FL’ to indicate this.

  • Answer:

Family leave includes maternity and paternity leave. This allows us to identify that the member is on reduced earnings due to family leave, and so the contribution tier should be determined using what the member should’ve earned if they weren’t on reduced earnings. Without this indicator you may receive a warning error as the contribution tier would be determined based on the reduced earnings.
